About the Artist: Lindsay Armstrong
I am a fashion designer and illustrator living in Columbus, Ohio with my husband Darren and dogs Hollywood and Coco. I grew up with a passion for drawing and fashion and as a little girl spent a lot of time sketching and painting dresses.
I earned my BA in Textiles and Clothing Design from The Ohio State University. I am currently a freelance designer and illustrator. You can see one of my dress designs being sold on Modcloth.com and it is soon to be featured in Teen Vogue Magazine.

How did Lucky Buckeye Designs come about?
I was a bridal consultant for a local bridal boutique and helped dozens of brides find their dream dress as well as help the shop get awarded Best of the Knot. I created gown illustrations for the shop decor but was quickly asked by several brides how they could own one of their special dress.
Plus, I was a bride myself until October 2011-so I truly understand the significance of a wedding gown and that connection one makes with a once in a lifetime garment.
